Minutes of Proceedings
The Chair presented the First Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows:
Your subcommittee met on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, to consider the business of the committee and agreed to make the following recommendations:
- That, unless otherwise specified, hearings held by the committee be divided into three one-hour panels;
- That all written briefs be submitted to the committee no later than Monday, May 9, 2022 at 4 p.m. and not exceed 1000 words;
- That the committee receive testimony from practitioners and family members on Monday, April 25, 2022 and on the theme of palliative care on Monday, May 2, 2022;
- That the themes be studied in the following order: palliative care, advance requests, disabilities, mature minors and mental health.
It was agreed, — That the First Report from the subcommittee be concurred in.
Félix Pageau, Stefanie Greene and Tim Guest made statements and, with Barbary Pesut, answered questions.
At 8:15 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

It was agreed, — That the meeting on Thursday, April 28, 2022 be on the topic of palliative care.
