Members of the Board of Directors approved the 2022–23 work plan for ParlAmericas, and conducted business; the business items included the Board’s Annual General Meeting and discussion of items relating to ParlAmericas’ budget and financing.

The main items discussed were the EU–UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement, the Canada–U.K. Trade Continuity Agreement, and relations with the United States (U.S).

The Caribbean Workshop on Human Trafficking, Forced Labour and Contemporary Forms of Exploitation, organized by CPA UK, took place online from February 2 and 3, 2021. Parliamentarians and officials taking part in the workshop represented the UK, Barbados, Belize, Guyana, Jamaica, St Vincent & Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago and Virgin Islands (UK).

Between meetings of the Bureau, it exercises all the powers of the Bureau and reports on its activities at the next Bureau meeting.

The Bureau is responsible for implementing the Plenary Assembly’s motions, resolutions, opinions and recommendations and may make any decision that will be helpful in that regard. Based on reports from the Secretariat General, it considers issues concerning the admission of branches and changes to their status, and it adopts the APF’s budget.
