CPA-UK Branch Workshop: Multilateral Trade Agreements: Opportunities and Challenges By videoconference Canadian Branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CCOM)

• To increase the involvement of parliamentarians in policy making and monitoring of aid and the budget process • To promote the participation of and communication between Civil Society Organisations, Faith-Based Organisations and our constituents in development strategies

The meeting was co-chaired by RUUK chair, the Honourable John McKay, P.C., M.P. and CPA UK chair, Ian Liddell-Grainger, MP. The co-chairs welcomed delegates with opening remarks focusing on the historic bonds and enduring friendship between the countries before formally opening the meeting.
