Parliamentary Associations Associations promote the country’s interests abroad on a continuing basis and are composed of both members of the Senate and of the House of Commons. There are 8 Multilateral Associations and 5 Bilateral Associations.

At the invitation of the two Speakers of the Australian Parliament, the Honourable John Hogg, Senator and Speaker of the Senate, and the Honourable Harry Jenkins, M.P., Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Honourable Peter Milliken, M.P. Speaker of the House of Commons, led a parliamentary delegation to Australia from August 22 to August 31, 2008.

At the invitation of Chairman of the State Great Hural, Tsendiin Nyamdorj, the Honourable Peter Milliken, M.P. and Speaker of the House of Commons, led a parliamentary delegation on an official visit to Mongolia from October 9 to 15, 2006.
