Leading up to the 65th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference, which is due to be held from 21–27 August 2021 in Halifax, Canada, the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Headquarters Secretariat hosted virtual workshops.

The conference highlighted the importance of public policy focusing on children, education and social disruptions. Delegates felt that both social and physical infrastructure are important for cultural development. The final session of the conference, presented by Anguilla, discussed the impact of climate change on development.
