(Ottawa) – The Canadian Branch Chairman of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, Russ Hiebert, MP, congratulated former Prime Minister Jean Chretien on his appointment as Canada’s representative to the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust.

The delegation was led by Mauril Bélanger, MP, Co-Chair of the Association. He was accompanied by Lois Brown, MP, Vice-Chair of the Association; Paul Massicote, Senator, Director of the Association; and Robert Carrier, MP, Director of the Association. The delegation was assisted by Maxime Ricard, Secretary of the Association, and Michael Dewing, Analyst for the Association.
