From December 15 to 17 2021, the CPA Headquarters Secretariat hosted a virtual post-election seminar for newly elected and returning members of the Parliament of the Bahamas. The Honourable Marilou McPhedran, Senator, was invited to provide remarks during a workshop on Women in Parliament held on December 16, 2021.

From September 5 to 9, 2016, the Speaker of the Senate, the Honourable George J. Furey, Q.C., led a parliamentary delegation on a visit to Slovenia and the Czech Republic. The Chair, Senator Tardif explained that a review of the activities, and particularly the objectives and anticipated results, of the 13 parliamentary associations formally recognized and funded by the Canadian Parliament was under way in order to reduce costs.

During the annual summit, a variety of topics of interest to both Canada and the United States were discussed. These topics included transportation, invasive species, education and workforce development, trade and economic development, cyber security, disaster resilience, energy, agriculture, forestry, the environment, mining, water, tourism, innovation and public-private partnerships.
