Staff assigned to the association Constitution Parliamentary Associations are governed by the procedures set out in their constitutions. These constitutions call for the creation of an executive committee to direct their work and provide for an annual general meeting of the membership.

Adopted March 10, 1977 from the former Constitution and Rules which were adopted February 27, 1969 / Amended on February 13, 1973, March 26, 1974, July 6, 1982, February 3, 1993, December 6, 1995, December 4, 1996, April 30, 1998, and February 9, 2005.
