SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Navigation Protection Act in order to add Burnaby Lake, Deer Lake and the Brunette River to the navigable waters listed in the schedule to that Act.

An Act to amend the Navigation Protection Act (Burnaby Lake, Deer Lake and Brunette River)
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
SHORT TITLE
Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Protecting Burnaby Lakes and Rivers Act.

NAVIGATION PROTECTION ACT
2. Part 1 of the schedule to the Navigation Protection Act is amended by adding after item 4 in the columns shown the following:
Item: “4.1”
Column 1: “Deer Lake”
Column 2: “49°14′10″ N, 122°58′19″ W”
Column 3: “The lake’s water boundary includes the mouths of all connecting waterways”
Item: “4.11”
Column 1: “Burnaby Lake”
Column 2: “49°14′36″ N, 122°56′39″ W”
Column 3: “The lake’s water boundary includes the mouths of all connecting waterways”
3. Part 2 of the schedule to the Act is amended by adding after item 4 in the columns shown the following:
Item: “4.1”
Column 1: “Brunette River”
Column 2: “49°13′11″ N, 122°53′31″ W”
Column 3: “49°14′43″ N, 122°55′32″ W”
Column 4: “From Burnaby Lake to the Fraser River”
