An Act to amend the Canada Post Corporation Act (householder mailings)
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
R.S., c. C-10
1. Subsection 35(3) of the Canada Post Corporation Act is replaced by the following:
Parliament
(3) Subject to regulations made pursuant to section 36, in any calendar year a member of the Senate or a member of the House of Commons may transmit by post free of postage up to four mailings of printed matter without any further address than “householder”, “boxholder”, “occupant” or “resident”,
(a) in the case of a member of the Senate, to persons residing in the province for which the senator is appointed, up to a number no greater than the average total of eligible voters for the federal electoral districts in that province on the day of the last federal election, and
(b) in the case of a member of the House of Commons, to that member’s constituents.

Clause 1: Subsection 35(3) reads as follows:
