RECOMMENDATION

Her Excellency the Governor General recommends to the House of Commons the appropriation of public revenue under the circumstances, in the manner and for the purposes set out in a measure entitled ``An Act to give effect to the Nisga'a Final Agreement''.

SUMMARY

This enactment gives effect to the Nisga'a Final Agreement and the Nisga'a Nation Taxation Agreement. It includes related amendments to a number of other Acts.

EXPLANATORY NOTES

Access to Information Act

Clause 21: (1) New. The relevant portion of subsection 13(1) reads as follows:

13. (1) Subject to subsection (2), the head of a government institution shall refuse to disclose any record requested under this Act that contains information that was obtained in confidence from
