SUMMARY This enactment establishes the Department of Human Resources Development with a presiding Minister to be appointed by commission under the Great Seal of Canada, with the powers, duties and functions as therein set out, and a Deputy Minister to be appointed by the Governor in Council, with provision for employees. It also provides that a Minister of Labour may be appointed and that a Deputy Minister of Labour may be designated. | SOMMAIRE Le texte constitue le ministère du Développement des ressources humaines; le ministre qui en est responsable est nommé par commission sous le grand sceau du Canada et dispose des attributions qui y sont mentionnées. Le texte prévoit en outre la nomination du sous-ministre par le gouverneur en conseil ainsi que diverses dispositions relativement aux fonctionnaires du nouveau ministère.
