SUMMARY |

This enactment establishes the Department of Canadian Heritage
with a presiding Minister to be appointed by Commission under the
Great Seal of Canada with the powers, duties and functions as therein
set out, and a Deputy Minister to be appointed by the Governor in
Council, with provision for employees.
