SUMMARY |

This enactment establishes the Department of Natural Resources
with a presiding minister to be appointed by commission under the
Great Seal of Canada with the powers, duties and functions set out in the
enactment and a deputy minister to be appointed by the Governor in
Council and makes provision for employees.
