Parliamentary Associations Associations promote the country’s interests abroad on a continuing basis and are composed of both members of the Senate and of the House of Commons. There are 8 Multilateral Associations and 5 Bilateral Associations.

The delegation attended Question Period in the House of Commons and was present for Speaker Borusewicz's Address to the Senate in Committee of the Whole. Speaker Borusewicz took the opportunity to present to the Parliament of Canada a replica of the Gutenberg Bible that had been kept in Canada during the Second World War.

This was a virtual seminar and was attended by representatives from throughout the Commonwealth. The newly elected Members of the House of Assembly, chosen to represent Bermuda’s approx. 64,000 citizens, join the Parliament in a year that marks 400 years after it first sat at St Peter’s Church in St George in 1620.

In addition to these meetings, the delegation visited the Chamber temporarily being used for the Senate and the House sittings. The delegation was also invited to attend a sitting of the Senate. On 13 and 14 October 2021, the Canadian Branch of the Assemblée parlementaire de la Francophonie (APF), represented by Marie-France Lalonde, Member of Parliament, participated in “ Le parlementarisme féminin en France et au Québec : où en sommes-nous?”, a symposium about women in parliament in France and Quebec hosted by the Commission de la mémoire franco-québécoise.

From January 9 to 11, 2025, the Honourable Greg Fergus, P.C., M.P., Speaker of the House of Commons, participated in the Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth (CSPOC), in Guernsey. The Standing Committee oversees CSPOC activities.
