Upon the dissolution of Parliament, the Executive Committee shall continue to manage the affairs of the Canadian branch until a new Executive Committee is elected, with due regard for the policies and related procedures set out in the Financial Management and Policy Guide for Parliamentary Associations.

The meetings took place in the presence of members of the Offices of the two Chambers, the presidents of the parliamentary blocks, the chairs of the commissions, the members of the bicameral commission responsible for coordinating international aid to Parliament, the secretaries general and the Chiefs of Staff of the two Chambers.
