SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Criminal Code to require that a presentence report contain information on any aspect of the offender’s mental condition that is relevant for sentencing purposes.

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
1 Subsection 721(3) of the Criminal Code is amended by adding the following after paragraph (a):
(a.1) any aspect of the offender’s mental condition that is relevant for sentencing purposes, as well as any mental health services or support available to the offender;
