SUMMARY

This enactment amends the Navigation Protection Act in order to add Burnaby Lake, Deer Lake and the Brunette River to the navigable waters listed in the schedule to that Act.

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

Short Title

Short title

1This Act may be cited as the Protecting Burnaby Lakes and Rivers Act.

Navigation Protection Act

2Part 1 of the schedule to the Navigation Protection Act is amended by adding after item 4 in the columns shown the following:

Column 3: “The lake’s water boundary includes the mouths of all connecting waterways”
