SUMMARY |
|
|
|
The purpose of this enactment is to continue the National Safety Net
Review Committee to develop policies and procedures to ensure
coordination between different government authorities in the case of
agricultural losses or disasters created by weather, pests, supply
interruptions or market conditions and the coordination of the delivery
of information, assistance, relief and compensation.
|
|
|
|
The Committee also investigates and advises the Minister on the
compliance of programs with World Trade Organization requirements.
|
|
|
|
The Committee reports to the Minister who must lay each report
before Parliament and within ninety days thereafter, lay before
Parliament a response to each report.
|
|
