SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Criminal Code to create offences in connection with the theft of a motor vehicle, the alteration, removal or obliteration of a vehicle identification number, the trafficking of property or proceeds obtained by crime and the possession of such property or proceeds for the purposes of trafficking, and to provide for an in rem prohibition of the importation or exportation of such property or proceeds.

SOMMAIRE
Le texte modifie le Code criminel afin de créer des infractions liées au vol de véhicule à moteur, au fait de modifier, d’enlever ou d’oblitérer le numéro d’identification d’un tel véhicule, au trafic de biens obtenus criminellement ou de leur produit et à la possession de tels biens ou produits aux fins de trafic. De plus, il prévoit une prohibition réelle d’exportation du Canada ou d’importation au Canada de tels biens ou produits.
