SUMMARY

This enactment amends the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act to extend the exemption for qualifying farming fuel to marketable natural gas and propane.

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act

1The definition qualifying farming fuel in section 3 of the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act is replaced by the following:

qualifying farming fuel  means a type of fuel that is gasoline, light fuel oil, Insertion start marketable natural gas, propane Insertion end or a prescribed type of fuel. (combustible agricole admissible)
