SUMMARY |

This enactment amends the Canada Elections Act by granting to a
registered party a reimbursement of a part of its election expenses where
at least thirty per cent of the total number of elected candidates endorsed
by the party are women.
|
|
|
|
In such a case, the party will receive a reimbursement equal to the
percentage of the total number of elected candidates sponsored by the
party who are women, up to fifty-five per cent of the party's election
expenses.
