SUMMARY

This enactment amends the Consumer Packaging and Labelling Act and prohibits packaging certain foods intended for retail sale unless the nutritional value of the food appears on the package in terms of

    (a) vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C and D,

    (b) sodium, potassium, iron and calcium,

    (c) carbohydrates,

    (d) fat, including polyunsaturates, monounsaturates and saturates, and cholesterol,

    (e) calories, and

    (f) dietary fibre.
