Members of the delegation were also able to meet some members of the current UN peacekeeping force from the United Kingdom who have taken over the previous responsibilities of the Canadian military in manning the checkpoints between the north and south.

A second meeting has been scheduled for 18 May 2021. On 16 March 2021, members of the Executive Committee of the Canada-United Kingdom Inter-Parliamentary Association (RUUK) participated in a bilateral meeting with members of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association UK (CPA UK).

On 28 June 2021, the Canada-United Kingdom Inter-Parliamentary Association (RUUK) and the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association UK (CPA UK) held their third bilateral meeting of 2021.

The Honorable Pierre-Hugues Boisvenu and Jane Cordy, Senators, and MP Cheryl Gallant participated in this webinar.
