The purpose of the visit to the State of Israel was to promote Canadian values and interests and explore opportunities for further cooperation on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of formal diplomatic relations between Canada and Israel in 2024, and as Israel celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2023.
