The Canadian Branch of the APF attended the FNCSF’s 29th annual convention in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Branch attended this convention to meet and share ideas with francophone stakeholders across the country and to emphasize the importance for francophones to make their voices heard and claim their rights, particularly as regards education in French.

Canadian Delegation to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly (SECO)

Prior to departure, the delegation was briefed by officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) and Natural Resources Canada (NRCAN). In addition, the delegation held a working lunch with His Excellency Gian Lorenzo Cornado, Italy’s Ambassador to Canada, and Mr. Manfred Auster, Minister-Counsellor from the EU’s Delegation to Canada.
