Canadian parliamentarians met with their parliamentary counterparts, trade and migration experts, NATO officials, ambassadors and Brexit negotiators, to discuss political dynamics in the UK and in the EU, to learn about the Brexit process and its potential impacts, and to strengthen and modernize bilateral ties between Canada and the UK.

The second day of the workshop featured breakout rooms where groups of participants discussed their role in addressing sports trafficking. Adeline Dumoulin (CPA UK) and Lerina Bright (Mission 89) facilitated one of the breakout rooms for parliamentarians and parliamentary officials.

He shared a statistical table with the number of reported COVID-19 cases and the number of deaths across Canada. He also spoke about the steps the Canadian government had taken to support the economy during the pandemic. Lastly, he described the measures in place so that the Parliament of Canada could continue meeting.

Canada currently had an operating deficit of CAD $ 30 billion but the government expected to have a balanced budget within one year by cutting programmes, budgets and posts. Mr. Örnfjäder admitted that they were not wizards and had done their best to produce a balanced budget.

Its status shall be that of a branch under clause 4 of the constitution of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association with headquarters in London, England, (herein called "the Association").
