While overall there is support for British/EU relations, one also gets the impression that there are varying positions in reference to governance in the UK, and the UK within the construct of the European Union.

On the topic of holding government to account, a discussion ensued on the difference between government and Parliament and the importance of communicating the differences to the public.

This conference was co-ordinated by the CPA UK Executive Committee, and was also supported by their partners, the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) and the World Bank Group.
