From July 13 to 16, 2012, the Honourable John Hogg, Senator, President of the Senate of Australia, visited Québec and Ottawa at the invitation of the Honourable Noël A. Kinsella, Speaker of the Senate.

In addition to discussions that were focused on a variety of aspects of research and development, presentations were made on the topics of health care, natural gas as a contributor to economic development, big data, and entrepreneurship and access to capital.
