Francis Drouin, MP, Chair of the Canadian Branch and First Vice-President of the APF, met with the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) and its Secretary General, Her Excellency Louise Mushikiwabo, to discuss pathways for efficient collaboration as part of his mandate as First Vice-President of the APF.

Cheryl Gallant MP, the Vice-Chair of the Canadian NATO-PA, participated in this event which was held over the course of two half-days, and entitled: “Russian Military Build-up and Crisis in Belarus at the Center of Polish Strategic Concerns”.

Members of the Canadian Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union UIPU) participated, two of whom, Rachel Blaney, MP and Sven Spengemann, MP were featured presenters together with Dr. Pechdau Tohmeena from Thailand’s House of Representatives and David Clarke from the World Health Organization.
