MP Richard Martel represented the Canadian Branch at the committee meeting. Members in attendance were briefed on the reports on activities for both the committee and the Parliamentary Network to fight HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

It was attended by Senator Marilou McPhedran, Senator Mohamed-Iqbal Ravalia and Ms. Lindsay Mathyssen, MP from the Canadian Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (UIPU).

On 17 November 2021, the Hon. David McGuinty, P.C., MP, President of the Canadian Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (UIPU) attended a virtual meeting of the Executive Committee of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

The delegation of the Canadian Branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association which attended the 54th Annual Conference of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from August 1 to 10, 2008, and which participated in a bilateral visit to Singapore from August 10 to 14, 2008 has the honour to present its report.

Led by Lord Purvis of Tweed, the cross-party delegation also included Mr. Andrew Percy, MP, Mr. Stephen Doughty, MP, and Ms. Anum Qaisar, MP.

As a concrete example of the esteem in which Canadian delegates are regarded within the CPA, two of the federal delegates, the Hon. Raynell Andreychuk, Senator and Russ Hiebert, MP, Chair of the Canadian Branch, participated as panel discussion leaders in two of the workshops.
