Les députés ont échangé sur le projet des jeunes ambassadeurs francophones, Marie-France Lalonde a appelé à plus d’éclaircissement entre ce programme et le Parlement francophone des jeunes. Joël Godin est intervenu afin de demander une planification plus détaillée pour ce projet et qu’une présentation en soit faite au prochain Bureau.

From 14 to 28 June 2021, the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) United Kingdom (U.K.) hosted a five-session workshop series on trade agreements, using the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) as a case study.

Presenters emphasized the gendered treatment of parliamentarians and other public figures online, noting that women face a higher degree of personal abuse and aggressive behaviour. As many presenters observed, beyond negatively impacting the lives of those who are targeted, online harassment undermines democracy and limits free speech by discouraging women and girls from being politically active.
