Members of the Executive finalized the draft IPU Strategy 2022-2026, as well as other matters related to the membership of the organization. Its recommendations were submitted to the Governing Council for endorsement by that body.

The Minister-Counsellor provided information on the economic relationship between Canada and France and statistics on trade between the two countries in recent years for various industry sectors. Members of the Executive Committee were updated on the progress made towards the development of the IPU Strategy 2022–2026.
