Visit to Canada of the Honourable Park Byeong-Seug, Speaker of the First half of the 21st National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, and a Parliamentary Delegation
On June 20 and 21, 2022, the Honourable Park Byeong-Seug, Speaker of the First half of the 21st National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, and a Parliamentary Delegation, visited Canada. The delegation consisted of the Honourable Cho Eung-Cheon, Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, the Honourable Eom Tae-Young, Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, and the Honourable So Byung-Chul, Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea. His Excellency Chang Keung-Ryong, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Cho Jong-Oh, Deputy Director of the International Affairs and Protocol Bureau of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Ms. Cho Seo-Yeon, Protocol Officer and Interpreter at the International Affairs and Protocol Bureau of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea and Mr. Kim Yun-Choong, Program Coordinator at the International Affairs and Protocol Bureau of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea also accompanied the delegation.
In Ottawa, the delegation met with the following officials:

- The Honourable Yonah Martin, Senator, Chair of the Canada-Korea Friendship Group;

- Mr. Greg McLean, M.P., Member of the Canada-Korea Friendship Group;

- Ms. Christine Normandin, M.P.; and
- Ms. Bonita Zarrillo, M.P.
The working visit provided an opportunity to strengthen bilateral relations between the Parliament of Canada and the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea.
