Review any special conference or other budget proposals to determine the level of funding to be recommended, if necessary, to the Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration of the Senate and the Board of Internal Economy of the House of Commons.

In a nutshell, if the budget was not blocked for the whole of the strategic plan, increasing contributions would rapidly be needed, which the Twelve Plus Group was reluctant to do. Fortunately the budget had already been blocked for the next two years.

Member of Parliament Marie-France Lalonde attended the meeting virtually for the Canadian Branch of the APF. She presented a new draft report theme on family patrimony and francophone women, a proposal that was approved by the Network. Ms. Lalonde announced that she would table an initial draft report in July 2024 at the Annual Session of the APF.
