5. A- Annual General Meeting: (1) An AGM must be held within 60 calendar days of the Opening of a new Parliament. (2) At least one meeting of the general membership shall be convened each year. The Executive Committee or 10 members of the Association may, upon at least two week’s written notice, convene a meeting of the general membership.

Report. At the invitation of the China-Canada Legislative Association (China), a Canadian parliamentary delegation, led by the Co-Chairs of the Canada-China Legislative Association (Canada), the Hon. Joseph A. Day, Senator and Mr. Daryl Kramp, Member of Parliament, visited the People’s Republic of China from September 9 to 19, 2010.

1) Pursuant to the decision of the 33rd General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) held in Lombok, Indonesia, on 16-22 September 2012, and in accordance with the Statutes of AIPA, the 34th General Assembly was held in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, on 17-23 September 2013 under the theme, “The Role of AIPA in Realising the ASEAN Community”.
