On 18 May 2021, Members of the Canada-United Kingdom Inter-Parliamentary Association (RUUK) met with members of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association UK (CPA UK) for the second in a series of bilateral meetings on topics of mutual interest. The overarching theme of this meeting was defence and security.

The Canadian NATO Parliamentary Association has the honour to present its report on the visit of the 78th Rose-Roth Seminar, held in London,United Kingdom, from November 21-22, 2011 and the Visit of the Sub-Committee on Transatlantic Defence and Security Co-operation (DSCTC), held in Lincoln and Glasgow,United Kingdom, from November 22-25, 2011.

Mr. Robert Walter (UK) was of the opinion that ‘conflict’ was a generic term, and therefore the initial version should suffice. Mrs. Doris Stump (Switzerland) stated that during the Executive Committee meeting, she had spoken out against the amendment, but that the Kuwaiti representative had fought hard to have it included, and won the day.
