Mr. Idevkhten Doloonjin, Vice-Chairman of the Parliament of Mongolia met with the Canadian delegation during the 16 th APPF meeting. The Canadian delegates noted that the Canadian mining industry is interested in increasing investment in Mongolia, either directly or through partnership agreements.

The Chair, Senator Tardif explained that a review of the activities, and particularly the objectives and anticipated results, of the 13 parliamentary associations formally recognized and funded by the Canadian Parliament was under way in order to reduce costs.
