The 48 th Annual Meeting provided an opportunity to develop and strengthen the ties between Canadian and French parliamentarians and to exchange on topics of common interest.

It also monitors the implementation of interparliamentary cooperation programs in accordance with the guidelines given by the plenary assembly and presents the APF’s programs and annual budget to the Bureau. Between meetings of the Bureau, it exercises all the powers of the Bureau and reports on its activities at the next Bureau meeting.

During the discussion of corporate business, Mr. Serré provided the report of the Corporate Board of Directors, and, as Treasurer of the ParlAmericas Corporation, Senator Galvez explained the annual audit.

Ms. Lalonde announced that she would table an initial draft report in July 2024 at the Annual Session of the APF. The Network also heard a presentation from Gladys Edith O.
