SUMMARY
This enactment provides a right of appeal to a foreign national whose application for a permanent resident visa has been denied on the grounds set out in paragraph 38(1)(c) or section 42 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Le texte accorde un droit d’appel aux étrangers qui se voient refuser la délivrance d’un visa de résident permanent pour un des motifs prévus au paragraphe 38(1) (état de santé risquant d'entraîner un fardeau excessif pour les services sociaux ou de santé) ou ceux prévus à l’article 42 de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés.
