SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act to include applicants approved under provincial nominee programs in the list of exceptions to inadmissibility on health grounds.

An Act to amend the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (exception to inadmissibility)
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
2001, c. 27
IMMIGRATION AND REFUGEE PROTECTION ACT
1. Subsection 38(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act is amended by adding the following after paragraph (b):
(b.1) has been approved under a provincial nominee program;
COMING INTO FORCE
Coming into force
2. This Act comes into force on the day following the day on which it receives royal assent.
