SUMMARY
This enactment amends An Act to amend the Canada Elections Act and the Income Tax Act by replacing its sunset provision with a requirement for a mandatory review, within two years, by a committee of the Senate and a committee of the House of Commons.

An Act to amend An Act to amend the Canada Elections Act and the Income Tax Act
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
1. Section 26 of An Act to amend the Canada Elections Act and the Income Tax Act, being chapter 24 of the Statutes of Canada, 2004, is replaced by the following:

26. Within two years after the coming into force of this section, the committee of the Senate that normally considers electoral matters, and the committee of the House of Commons that normally considers electoral matters, shall each undertake a comprehensive review of the amendments made by this Act and submit a report to its House containing its recommendations concerning those amendments.
