Repeals

Repeal of R.S., c. C-9

168. The Canada Ports Corporation Act is repealed.

Repeal

169. The Hamilton Harbour Commission ers' Act, chapter 98 of the Statutes of Canada, 1912, is repealed.

Repeal

170. The Hamilton Harbour Commission ers Act, 1951, chapter 17 of the Statutes of Canada, 1951, is repealed.

Repeal

171. The Hamilton Harbour Commission ers Act, 1957, chapter 16 of the Statutes of Canada, 1957-58, is repealed.

172. The Harbour Commissions Act is repealed.

Repeal of R.S., c. P-29

173. The Public Harbours and Port Facili ties Act is repealed.

Repeal of R.S., c. S-2

174. The St. Lawrence Seaway Authority Act is repealed.

Repeal

175. The Toronto Harbour Commission ers' Act, 1911, chapter 26 of the Statutes of Canada, 1911, is repealed.

Conditional Amendment

Bill C-25

176. If Bill C-25, introduced in the second session of the thirty-fifth Parliament and entitled An Act respecting regulations and other documents, including the review, regis tration, publication and parliamentary scru tiny of regulations and other documents, and to make consequential and related amend ments to other Acts is assented to, then, on the later of the day on which section 1 of that Act comes into force and the day on which this section comes into force, subsection 40(10) of this Act is replaced by the follow ing:

(10) Land-use plans are not regulations within the meaning of the Regulations Act.

Coming into force

177. (1) Subject to subsection (2), this Act comes into force on the later of July 1, 1997 and 90 days after the day on which it receives Royal Assent.

Coming into force

(2) Part III, or any of its provisions, and sections 130, 138, 139.1, 140, 141, 147.1, 148, 150, 151, 152, 154, 155, 160, 163, 164, 165, 169 to 172, 174 and 175 come into force on a day or days to be fixed by order of the Governor in Council.
