RECOMMENDATION
Her Excellency the Governor General recommends to the House of Commons the appropriation of public revenue under the circumstances, in the manner and for the purposes set out in a measure entitled “An Act to authorize certain payments to be made out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund for the purpose of improving housing supply”.
SUMMARY
This enactment authorizes payments to be made out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund to the provinces and territories for the purpose of improving housing supply.

His Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
Payments for the Purpose of Improving Housing Supply
Total payment of $1.713 billion
1 (1) The Minister of Finance may make payments to the provinces and territories, the total of which is equal to $1.713 billion, for the purpose of improving housing supply. The amount of each payment is to be determined by the Minister of Finance.
Payments out of C.R.F.
(2) Any amount payable under subsection (1) may be paid by the Minister of Finance out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund at the times and in the manner that the Minister of Finance considers appropriate.
