41. Parents or the persons acting in their stead have a right to require that, in the public educational establishments, their children receive a religious or moral education in conformity with their convictions, within the framework of the curricula provided for by law.

727. The provision of this Act which grant rights and priviledges to a religious confession shall operate notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph a of section 2 and section 15 of the Constitution Act, 1982 (Schedule B to the Canada Act, chapter 11 in the volume of the Acts of Parliament of the United Kingdom).
