2.if the bells are ringing for a vote at the time the committee is to meet, they be interrupted for the Committee of the Whole at that time, and resume once the committee has completed its work for the balance of any time remaining;\r\n\r\n

Part 3 amends the Canada Recovery Benefits Act to, among other things,
(a) extend the period within which a person may be eligible for a Canada recovery sickness benefit or a Canada recovery caregiving benefit;
(b) increase the maximum number of weeks in respect of which a Canada recovery sickness benefit is payable to a person from four to six; and
(c) increase the maximum number of weeks in respect of which a Canada recovery caregiving benefit is payable to a person from 42 to 44.

Part 4 amends the Canada Labour Code to, among other things, create a regime that provides for a leave of absence related to COVID-19 under which an employee may take
(a) up to six weeks if they are unable to work because, among other things, they have contracted COVID-19, have underlying conditions that in the opinion of certain persons or entities would make them more susceptible to COVID-19 or have isolated themselves on the advice of certain persons or entities for reasons related to COVID-19; and

Le soutien accordé en vertu de la SSUC et de la SULC serait offert au secteur du tourisme et de l’accueil ainsi qu’aux organisations les plus durement touchées ayant enregistré des réductions considérables de revenu. Les entités admissibles auront à démontrer qu’elles ont subi des baisses de revenu sur une période de 12 mois durant la pandémie ainsi que pendant le mois en cours en application de ces règles. De plus, les organisations touchées par un confinement causé par des restrictions sanitaires admissibles seraient éligibles au soutien si un ou plusieurs de leurs emplacements sont assujettis à des restrictions sanitaires pendant une période d’au moins sept jours causant la cessation d’une partie ou de toutes leurs activités. La partie 1 permet également au gouvernement de prolonger les subventions par voie de règlement jusqu’au 2 juillet 2022.
La partie 2 édicte la Loi sur la prestation canadienne pour les travailleurs en cas de confinement afin d’autoriser le versement de la prestation canadienne pour les travailleurs en cas de confinement dans les régions où un confinement est imposé pour des raisons liées à la COVID-19. En outre, elle apporte des modifications corrélatives à la Loi de l’impôt sur le revenu et au Règlement de l’impôt sur le revenu.
La partie 3 modifie la Loi sur les prestations canadiennes de relance économique pour, notamment?:
a) prolonger la période pendant laquelle une personne peut être admissible à la prestation canadienne de maladie pour la relance économique ou à la prestation canadienne de relance économique pour les proches aidants;
b) faire passer le nombre maximal de semaines à l’égard desquelles la prestation canadienne de maladie pour la relance économique peut être versée de quatre à six;

La partie 4 modifie le Code canadien du travail afin notamment de créer un régime permettant à un employé de prendre un congé lié à la COVID-19, selon le cas?:
a) d’au plus six semaines s’il est incapable de travailler notamment parce qu’il a contracté la COVID-19, a des affections sous-jacentes qui, de l’avis de certaines personnes ou entités, le rendraient plus vulnérable de contracter la COVID-19 ou s’est mis en isolement sur l’avis de l’une ou l’autre personne ou entité pour des raisons liées à la COVID-19;
b) d’au plus quarante-quatre semaines s’il est incapable de travailler parce qu’il doit, pour certaines raisons liées à la COVID-19, s’occuper d’un enfant de moins de douze ans ou d’un membre de sa famille qui nécessite des soins supervisés.
En outre, elle apporte une modification connexe à la Loi no 1 d’exécution du budget de 2021.
