Coming Into Force
39. (1) Subsection 114(2) of the Canada Pension Plan does not apply in respect of the amendments to that Act contained in sections 2, 12 to 14 and 36 of this Act.

(2) Sections 2, 12 to 14 and 36 of this Act come into force in accordance with subsection 114(4) of the Canada Pension Plan.

(3) Subsection 4(2), sections 6 and 7, subsections 17(2) and 28(2) and sections 32 and 33 of this Act come into force on a day or days to be fixed by order of the Governor in Council.




Her Excellency the Governor General in Council hereby fixes March 3, 2008 as the day on which sections 2, 12 to 14, and 36 of that Act come into force.

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council hereby fixes July 1, 2008, as the day on which subsection 17(2) of that Act comes into force.

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council hereby fixes April 1, 2010 as the day on which subsection 4(2), sections 6 and 7, subsection 28(2) and sections 32 and 33 of that Act come into force.
