SOMMAIRE
Le texte modifie le Code criminel afin de préciser ce qui constitue de l’exploitation lorsqu’il est question d’établir si une personne a commis l’infraction de traite de personnes. Il modifie aussi la Loi sur les juges afin de prévoir que les colloques organisés en vue du perfectionnement des juges comprennent des colloques sur la traite de personnes.
SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Criminal Code to specify what constitutes exploitation for the purpose of establishing whether a person has committed the offence of trafficking in persons. It also amends the Judges Act to provide that seminars established for the continuing education of judges must include seminars on trafficking in persons.

3 (1) Si l’article 1 de la présente loi entre en vigueur avant l’article 2 de la Loi modifiant le Code criminel (exploitation et traite de personnes) (appelée « autre loi » au présent article), cet article 2 est abrogé.
3 (1) If section 1 of this Act comes into force before section 2 of An Act to amend the Criminal Code (exploitation and trafficking in persons) (the “other Act”), then that section 2 is repealed.
(2) Si l’entrée en vigueur de l’article 1 de la présente loi et celle de l’article 2 de l’autre loi sont concomitantes, cet article 2 est réputé ne pas être entré en vigueur et est abrogé.
(2) If section 1 of this Act comes into force on the same day as section 2 of the other Act, then that section 2 is deemed never to have come into force and is repealed.
