SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Canada Elections Act to provide that
(a) proof of a party’s endorsement of a prospective candidate in an electoral district is to be provided by the party’s nomination officer for the electoral district; and
(b) nomination officers are elected by the chief executive officers of a party’s electoral district association in a province or the territories.
It also amends the Parliament of Canada Act to provide for the expulsion and readmission of a caucus member, for the election and removal of a caucus chair and for leadership reviews.
