SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Navigable Waters Protection Act in order to add eight rivers to the navigable waters listed in the schedule to that Act, as it will read immediately after the coming into force of section 331 of the Jobs and Growth Act, 2012.

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

NAVIGABLE WATERS PROTECTION ACT
1. Part 2 of the schedule to the Navigable Waters Protection Act, as it reads immediately after the coming into force of section 331 of the Jobs and Growth Act, 2012, is amended by adding after item 1 in the columns shown the following:

Column 1: “Alsek River”
Column 2: “59°26′00″ N, 137°58′00″ W”
Column 3: “60°34′11″ N, 137°49′41″ W”
Column 4: “From Dezadeash River to the British Columbia/Alaska border”

Column 4: “From Datlasaka Creek to the Alsek River”

2. Part 2 of the schedule to the Act is amended by adding after item 3 in the columns shown the following:

4. Part 2 of the schedule to the Act is amended by adding after item 18 in the columns shown the following:

COMING INTO FORCE
Coming into force
6. This Act comes into force on the later of the day section 331 of the Jobs and Growth Act, 2012 comes into force and the day on which this Act receives royal assent.
